Streamline Health Names Tom Dean as New VP, Product Engineering and Michael Brooks as New VP, Client Services


Oct 25, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Streamline Health Solutions, a provider of enterprise and departmental document management solutions and business process workflows for healthcare, announced the hiring of Tom Dean as VP, product engineering and the promotion of Michael Brooks to VP, client services.



According to a release from the company, Dean and Brooks report to Gary Winzenread, Streamline Health's COO.

Dean brings to Streamline Health over 28 years of experience in the healthcare information systems industry. In his new role he will be responsible for the continued advancement of the STRM 5 architecture and the successful delivery of new Streamline Health products to the market. Prior to joining Streamline Health, Dean served as VP of research and development for CareCentric, a healthcare solutions company that offered software and services to post-acute care providers. Prior to CareCentric, Dean was VP of product development for DocuSys, an anesthesia information management system vendor. Before joining DocuSys, Dean was employed by Eclipsys, where he was the VP of platform engineering and led a team of over 70 employees.


Brooks has been with Streamline Health for more than two and a half years. He began his career at Streamline Health as director of implementation services, and sequentially expanded this role to executive director, adding responsibility for Support Operations and Software as a Service (SaaS) Operations. In his new role he will be responsible for the Software as a Service business, the Software Maintenance and Support business, and client implementations, essentially consolidating all aspects of ensuring clients' success with the Streamline Health products across the enterprise.
