Occam to Discuss Service Provider's Benefits at Metaswitch Forum

Occam Networks (News - Alert) investigated how service providers can benefit from the Metaswitch-Occam Networks' solutions combination, at the 2010 Metaswitch Forum. Juan Vela (News - Alert), director of Solutions Marketing and Strategy at Occam Networks, discussed the benefits in a session entitled 'IP Communications in the Next Decade.' He also discussed signaling protocols that allow seamless interaction of these next-generation services.

Therein lies a good opportunity for network vendors to look to strategic vendors for investment opportunities, especially at a time when service providers are aiming to keep up with the latest advanced IP voice and data services.

 

Metaswitch's core session control, call feature server and media gateway products are fairly compatible with Occam Networks' IP-over-Ethernet multi-service access platform (MSAP) which allows telcos to deliver a host of voice, data and video services.
