QuamTel implements e-commerce sales and service platform

QuamTel, a provider of online Voice over IP communications solutions for consumers, has implemented the QuamTel Application Network, or QAN, a next-generation e-commerce sales and service platform.
Using QAN platform, the company has already begun providing both prepaid and postpaid telecommunications services to its existing customer base.
According to the company, the modularized application architecture which drives and guides QuamTel's internal processing systems provides third party sales and service bureaus the ability to obtain access to technology which is based on internal research and development.
QuamTel upgraded its e-commerce system not only to enhance customer service, but also to pave the way for an ability to integrate Google ad-word campaigns into the QuamTel outbound marketing communications program, the company said.
Stuart Ehrlich, CEO at QuamTel, said: "Through object-oriented methodologies, along with the latest in web based technologies, QuamTel has positioned its network to dramatically increase the quality and value of the telecommunications services it provides to both retail and wholesale consumers.
