Mobile Linux company Azingo has announced the appointment of Gabi
Schindler as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

Schindler is the latest addition to the expanding Azingo executive
team, which has added several key positions recently as the company has
moved into a fast track position in the open mobile industry.

Schindler will manage corporate marketing, product marketing, and
ecosystem development worldwide for the company's open mobile Linux
platform, helping the company expand its global presence and
recognition.

"Gabi's extensive technical marketing experience will be key in helping
us maintain the momentum we've achieved following the launch of Azingo
Mobile, the first LiMo-based open mobile software platform in the
market," said Mahesh Veerina, Chief Executive Officer for Azingo. "We
are fortunate to have introduced the right product at the right time
and Gabi can help us leverage this opportunity to our best advantage."

Schindler joins Azingo from Saba, a human capital management (HCM)
software and services provider, where she served as Chief Marketing
Officer responsible for global product marketing, field marketing and
corporate marketing. Prior to Saba, she was Senior Vice President of
worldwide marketing at PalmSource, a spinoff of Palm, where she focused
on building mobile operating systems for smart phones and mobile
devices. Previously she held executive marketing positions at Apple and
AT&T. She began her career as a principal at Regis McKenna, a Silicon
Valley public relations firm where she managed numerous strategic
marketing and communications efforts for companies such as IBM and
Apple.
