Higher Ed CRM's Jenzabar Announces New Corporate Direction'
 TMCnet Contributing Editor
Jenzabar, a vendor of software for higher education, has announced a new corporate direction aimed at “strengthening the customer business processes that are critical to their institutional success,” according to company officials.
The corporate strategy concentrates on developing the financial backbone of Institutions of Higher Education by increasing the rate of enrollment, retention, and advancement through consultative services that support Jenzabar technology products.
Based on Jenzabar’s experience in the higher education industry the company is “focusing on generating revenue and improving operational performance for customers.” To do so, they concentrated on three key areas they see driving “significant results for colleges and universities: enrollment, retention, and advancement (ERA).”
Because the ERA success factor affects the financial and operational achievement of an institution, Jenzabar officials say they will offer “more than technology products, but also a consultative approach to utilizing technology products to improve campus business processes.”
Earlier this summer, Jenzabar announced a partnership with Informz, an integrated e-mail marketing company that enables personalized and targeted communication.
The Informz e-mail marketing system will be integrated with Jenzabar’s admissions and development modules. The offering will enable Jenzabar clients to deliver targeted and tracked e-mail to prospective students, current students, and alumni.
The Informz for Jenzabar solution will allow Jenzabar users to easily send relevant, personalized messages, track the results, and measure the effectiveness of their campaigns in real time.
In addition to tracking and management tools, the Informz solution will enable schools to accept event registrations and payments directly from the e-mail campaigns.
Also earlier this year, Jenzabar announced that Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire is now fully live on the latest version of Jenzabar CX — version 8.1, an ERP product designed specifically for higher education.
In partnership with Jenzabar, the College completed the final stage of their ERP implementation early this year. Saint Anselm College is currently finishing implementation of its Jenzabar Constituent Relationship Modules (CRMs).
