Endeavor Says SmartCatalog Compliant with Dynamics CRM 3.0

Endeavor Commerce, publishers of SmartCatalog, a guided selling and configuration product for CRM and eCommerce, has announced that its SmartCatalog application has successfully passed the Test for ISV Solutions at VeriTest, a division of Lionbridge Technologies (News - Alert), Inc.
This is the second time SmartCatalog has passed certification testing for Dynamics CRM. In 2004, Veritest passed SmartCatalog v5.0. Today's test certifies the latest release of SmartCatalog v6.0 for Dynamics CRM v3.0.
Company officials say this means Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM users can use SmartCatalog's guided selling and superior rules manager to "ensure their product and pricing configurations are timely, accurate, and automated across all sales channels."
In December Endeavor said SmartCatalog was selected by Norway-based Opplysningen. Endeavor officials said the deal strengthened Endeavor Commerce's European presence.
A Norwegian vendor of personal and business information, Opplysningen maintains a database with millions of entries. Their 55-person sales force, which sells ad space, needed to produce accurate quotes instantly, where the pricing is dynamically configured based on numerous variables. The result is more than 16 million possible combinations that determine price.
In September Endeavor announced that SmartCatalog has been tested and verified compliant with Sage CRM SalesLogix v7 from Sage Software (News - Alert). Compliance verification means that "when our customers migrate to Sage CRM SalesLogix v7, they can be assured that their SmartCatalog system will work," said Jamie Riell, Director of Product Development at Endeavor Commerce.
Sage CRM SalesLogix v7 was unveiled at the annual Gartner (News - Alert) Customer Relationship Management Summit in Chicago in early September.
In July the Dallas-based software vendor announced that it had been named a Premier Solutions Partner by Sage Software. As part of the designation Sage Software, a vendor of accounting and business management software to small and mid-sized businesses, added SmartCatalog for SalesLogix to its price list allowing Sage CRM Solutions business partners to sell the suite of quote and order management products to prospects and customers.
