Proving that it still cares about enhancing Siebel applications, Oracle (News - Alert) has announced the release of Siebel Communications Billing Manager 5.1.1 and Siebel Communications Billing Analytics 5.1.1, two key components of Oracle's Siebel Self-Service Solutions.
The enhanced offerings are intended to give customers comprehensive online access to billing data and improved reporting capabilities.
Oracle's Siebel Communications Billing Manager 5.1.1 and Siebel Communications Billing Analytics 5.1.1 are described by company officials as designed to help lower print and payment processing costs and eliminate postage costs, and accelerate collections with online bill payment and presentment.
Additionally, the applications provide account- and cost center-based reporting, as well as budget, spend and usage analysis. Users will now be able create accurate historical and trend reports across billing periods with versioned hierarchy capabilities.
The application will also enable customers to conduct "what if" analysis with fast, real-time updates between business hierarchies and reports, as well as distribute access to information throughout the organization with hierarchical and role based reporting features.
Siebel eBilling Manager 5.1.1 now includes convergent bill presentment functionality to easily link multiple services within one self-service experience, increased scalability for large business-to-business and business-to-consumer accounts and enhancements to further strengthen performance and security.
