Mr. Rauchle was elected chief operating officer of Inter-Tel in August 2001, and he was
appointed president of Inter-Tel, Incorporated in February 2005. He is
responsible for all day to day operations of the company including sales,
operations, customer service, order fulfillment, training, engineering,
product direction and marketing.
Mr. Rauchle originally joined Inter-Tel in 1979 as branch general manager of the Denver Direct
Sales Office, prior to which he was director of sales and marketing for American Business
Communications-then an Inter-Tel competitor. In 1983 Mr. Rauchle was appointed the central
region vice president and then western regional vice president and subsequently given the
responsibility of directing all direct sales activities nationally. During this time he
identified and acquired in excess of thirty direct sales and service offices, creating a nationwide
presence for Inter-Tel; standardized the operations of these same offices; and transitioned
Inter-Tel into a National company supporting customer needs across the United States thus
increasing the awareness of Inter-Tel products nationally.
In 1990, Mr. Rauchle was appointed president of TCI Industries, a former wholly-owned subsidiary
of Inter-Tel, Incorporated. He was named senior vice president in 1992, and in 1994 was named
executive vice president. Currently, in addition to his role as COO, Mr. Rauchle is president
of Inter-Tel Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned sales subsidiary. He holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Communications from the University of Denver.
