RAD Data Communications TDMoIP Gateways
RAD has developed a new technology called
Time Division Multiplexing over Internet Protocol and implemented it in its
IPmux product line of TDMoIP Gateways. Simple to install and compact in

OfficeLink 2000 Version 2.2 From Teltone Corporation
VoIP capabilities are now a part of the OfficeLink
2000 product, allowing geographically dispersed call center agents and
knowledge workers access to the enterprise phone system using only a
Windows-based PC connection to the Internet. Version 2.2 also allows users
"softphone" uses such as on-screen buttons for log-in/log-out,
release, hold, and assist. "The new enhancements enable our customers
to expand into VoIP without abandoning their current infrastructure,"

Compaq's Central Office Family's New Addition: DS10CO
AlphaServer

announces the DS10CO AlphaServer, leveraging full 64-bit Alpha processing
power. The DS10CO will host applications such as intelligent call routing,

Spider Software Introduces SpiderSLM
SpiderSLM will boost SS7 protocol
software signaling capacity to communication devices based on the Motorola
MPC860 microprocessor to quadruple the number of T1/E1 interface channels
available as signaling links. It also reduces the number of SS7 devices
traditionally required by up to 75 percent. SpiderSLM removes restrictions
on the SS7 chip and replaces the functionality in the processor with a
software solution.
Cisco Offers Mid-Range IP Telephony Solutions: IP Phone
7940
A second-generation, full-featured IP phone for low to medium traffic users
allowing four simultaneous calls and four interactive soft keys, the Cisco
IP Phone 7940 provides auto-configuration and in-line power capability to
desktops across IP networks everywhere. Also of note is the IP Phone 7935,
which brings IP telephony to conference rooms with a hands-free solution to
ease the stress of phone meetings.
