Rick Snyder has been President of TANDBERG’s Americas theatre since 2005. He brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and operational leadership experience in the technology industry to TANDBERG.

Prior to joining TANDBERG, Rick was CEO of ReView Video, a distributor of value-added conferencing solutions and services. Previously, he was President of RG Strategy Associates, LLC, a strategy consulting firm focused in the technology sector.

In addition, Rick spent five years in the enterprise networking business at Williams Communications. There, he served as the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, where he directed all activities for the company’s professional services operations, emerging technologies unit and corporate marketing. Rick also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s distribution business unit and as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the company’s central territory operations. Additionally, Rick held senior management positions at Executone, Octel and Bell Atlantic.

He graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Joan Vandermate is Vice President of Marketing for the Video Solutions Group of Polycom Inc. At Polycom, Joan’s is responsible for marketing of Polycom’s video products and solutions worldwide including product positioning, message development and managing global product launches. 
 
Joan joined Polycom in 2006 after spending over 10 years in product marketing and product management at Siemens Communications where, most recently, she was the VP of Product Line Management for North America.   Prior to joining Siemens, she worked for more than a decade in the personal computing and internetworking industries where she gained extensive marketing, business development and sales management experience at companies such as Cabletron and Wall Data.
