Edgewater Networks Participates in ITEXPO East 2012, Asterisk World 2012 and Telecom Reseller Week

Edgewater Networks (News - Alert), a provider of Enterprise Session Border Controllers (ESBCs), announced that its Vice President of Marketing, Dave Martin participated in ITEXPO East 2012 and Asterisk World 2012 and hosted a seminar at the Telecom Reseller (News - Alert) Week.

ITEXPO East 2012,  happening now in Miami, FL., is the event with an educational program that teaches resellers, enterprises, SMBs, and Government Agencies how to select IP-based voice, video, fax, and unified communications to purchase or resell. The Asterisk World 2012 conference educates visitors about latest technologies, regulatory issues, essential issues, and trends in the IP Communications industry. Telecom Reseller Week is a forum for users where they can learn about cutting edge new solutions they can represent, to meet with many new potential partners, and to study proven sales techniques to help improve their team's performance.

On February 1st, at Asterisk (News - Alert) World 2012, Martin conducted a session titled “Easing the Pain of Connecting Remote Offices/Workers to an Asterisk Infrastructure” and spoke about techniques that can be employed to safely extend UC systems to a distributed workforce. The session also explained how Edgewater’s Enterprise Session Border Controllers installed in remote offices was able to deliver quality VoIP and seamlessly connected distributed locations with no additional security infrastructure requirements.

Edgewater claimed that its EdgeMarc suite of Enterprise Session Border Controllers offer small to large enterprises reduced operational and capital expenses of up to 90 percent while improving call quality, security, and simplifying the user experience. It helps enterprises enhance the performance of their video and voice over IP services.

Martin was also one of the members of the “E-SBCs: Handling Users, Applications and Enterprise Networks” panel at ITEXPO (News - Alert) 2012. On the panel Martin, highlighted the ability of Edgewater’s ESBCs to bring down costs and maximize service quality and availability.

Martin hosted a seminar “Profitably Selling UC Services Infrastructure” at Telecom Reseller Week that showed attendees the ways in which dealers and resellers can educate their customers about the needed infrastructure to maximize the investments they are already making in UC services.
