Cypress Communications Recognized by TMC Labs for Call Center Tech Excellence

Cypress Communications, a provider of hosted and managed voice, data and Internet solutions, announced that its C4 IP Automatic Call Distribution solution, also known as C4 IP ACD, reportedly won a 2009 TMC (News - Alert) Labs Innovation Award from Customer Interaction Solutions magazine.

 
The TMC Labs Innovation Award from Technology Marketing Corporation recognizes products that demonstrate innovation, uniqueness and significant contributions toward improving communications technology.
 
C4 IP ACD, according to officials, is a powerful combination of automatic call distribution functionality integrated into one of the leading hosted Voice over Internet Protocol and hosted unified communications solutions for small-to-medium enterprises.
 
This call center technology helps SMEs better manage their calls and as a result, be more competitive. The intelligent call routing capability spreads the workload evenly among the agents, boosting employee morale and increasing customer service.
 
The real time call center statistics with historical reporting capabilities of C4 IP ACD gives supervisors the information they need to operate efficiently. Organizations can also add reporting, queue configuration control and LCD wall board support to C4 IP ACD.
 
This integrated solution comes complete with voice and data access, phones, collaboration and video services, unified messaging and advanced PBX (News - Alert) functionality.
Since it is an outsourced solution, C4 IP requires little oversight from the customer, so they can reallocate IT budget and personnel resources to where they'll create the most business growth and value.
 
Nadji Tehrani, founder and chairman of TMC and publisher of Customer Interaction Solutions, said C4 IP ACD has made a significant contribution to the customer relationship management and contact center industry.
 
Frank Grillo (News - Alert), executive vice president of marketing at Cypress, said the company believed in the value of hosted delivery model--in its ability to deliver better technology and more functionality at a lower cost than alternative options.
 
According to Grillo, most premises-based solutions require heavy upfront investments in equipment and extensive IT resources to implement, oftentimes putting much-needed functionality out of reach of SMEs; however, C4 IP ACD and its wide range of hosted features enable them to leverage world-class technology that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive for them to implement.
 
Calzone Case Company, a manufacturer of music cases and heavy-duty shipping containers, recently selected Cypress Communications C4 IP hosted VoIP and hosted unified communications solution, TMCnet reported.
 
With C4 IP, Calzone is able to implement unified communications, centralize its communications for multiple locations and eliminate redundancies across the organization, all for less cost than a premises-based solution, officials said.
