Agreement between Myers Network Solutions and Vidtel to Offer SMEs Cloud Video Conferencing Service

Vidtel (News - Alert) recently announced that it has entered into an agreement with Myers Network Solutions (News - Alert) and will now offer SMEs a cloud-based service called Vidtel's MeetMe. This new service has the ability to setup video conferences between room-based systems, executive desktop video systems, PCs/Macs, smartphones and tablets by leveraging a number of options such as SIP, H.323, Skype and Google Talk technologies.

Myers Network Solutions stands to benefit from this distribution agreement, as it will now be able to offer Vidtel Connect on InFocus's 55-inch Mondopad wall tablet and Vidtel MeetMe for both the Mondopad and other video conferencing devices such as Polycom, Tandberg and LifeSize (News - Alert) products.

In a release, Victoria Myers, Myers Network Solutions cofounder and director of operations said, “Vidtel's MeetMe service enables our clients to overcome the No. 1 barrier to implementing video conferencing: the big-gulp upfront cost of infrastructure. Myers is the latest participant in Vidtel's channel program. Those who want to avail the Vidtel MeetMe video conferencing service can make an immediate purchase from Myers Network Solutions.
