Allstate Agency Turns to Zultys and ROI Telephony for Effective Telecommunication System

By Susan J. Campbell, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Zultys Inc., a Silicon Valley company offering open standards IP communications and telephony products, has recognized an innovative solution created by ROI Telephony for a multi-office Allstate Insurance agent.

Allstate agencies within the U.S. have been transitioning away from company-provided office technology to agent-owned systems. As a result, independent agents have been searching for solutions that will meet their needs in a cost effective way.

Mark Tucker, an Allstate broker in Hickory Creek, Texas, selected TOI Telephony of Dallas, Texas, a Zultys value added reseller, to provide a telecommunications systems to support his four agencies in Texas, as well as his remote workforce.

"We integrated a suite of Zultys equipment to replace the telephone functionality, and we also improved Tucker's business productivity and service reliability," said Tom McCrary, CEO of ROI Telephony, in a Wednesday statement.

The new system that Tucker selected simultaneously manages both the data networks and voice communications. Calls coming into to all offices go through a central system and are easily rerouted when staff availability fluctuates. The solution also provides secure instant messaging between colleagues, and advanced voicemail, fax, and call recording features.

"I am most excited about the unified management dashboard," said Tucker, in the Wednesday statement. "Just by looking at the presence icons, I know when anyone on my team is speaking with a client or engaged in a meeting. This is possible anywhere I have an Internet connection, so we are now much better equipped to provide reliable service to our customers."

IP PBX (News - Alert) systems from Zultys are designed to offer an all-in-one turnkey system with pre-loaded software. These solutions are easily configured and do not require additional or external servers. It supports PC, Mac, and Linux equipment, so installation and maintenance are less complex, deployments are faster, and solutions are more cost effective.

McCrary shared that ROI has implemented several other Allstate systems and provides smarter and more affordable enterprise-level communications for agents.

Founded in 2002, Zultys has earned a solid reputation by demonstrating what is possible for Open Standards IP communications and telephony. Companies and organizations around the world are experiencing the benefits of an Open Standards IP platform for their communications needs.

As Allstate agencies turn to agent-owned systems, the demand for cost-effective and right-size solutions will grow. In order to meet this demand, Zultys is relying on the reputation and reach of ROI Telephony in this market. In doing so, the company can extend its market share and build out its brand while addressing the immediate needs of the Allstate agent.
