Sipera IPCS Solution for Teleworkers is Now 'Avaya Compliant'

By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Sipera Systems’ Sipera IPCS solution has been rated Avaya compliant with key components of the Unified Communications (News - Alert) for Teleworkers solutions from Avaya.

According to Sipera, the Sipera IPCS product suite's integration with Avaya (News - Alert) SIP-enabled telephones helps businesses comprehensively secure VoIP/UC remote and mobile workers as the integrated solution offers threat prevention, policy compliance and secure access in a single, real-time appliance.

Erica Ziemer, VP Business Development of Sipera Systems (News - Alert) said in a statement that Avaya compliance for the Sipera IPCS product family ensures enterprises can apply comprehensive security for teleworkers, whose remote communications may be subject to various attacks and other security issues.

She noted that Sipera's leadership in VoIP/UC security helps enterprises incorporate emerging communications technologies confidently and cost-effectively, and uncover new collaboration possibilities for getting more out of their communications infrastructure, without risk.

Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya explained that Avaya promotes fully interoperable solutions that help businesses unleash powerful new possibilities by offering compliance testing to the many innovative companies like Sipera Systems, who are members of their DevConnect (News - Alert) program.

Businesses are able to use Intelligent Communications to connect employees and customers to information from wherever they are, over whatever device they have available -- getting more out of their multivendor network and delivering new value to their bottom line.

Sipera Systems is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program. This initiative helps to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network.
