Knowmark Picks Loquendo Speech Recognition for Media Monitoring Platform

Loquendo, global speech technology provider and Knowmark, an Italian provider of automatic media monitoring, have signed an agreement to include Loquendo (News - Alert) ASR in Knowmark’s BAS media monitoring platform. 

Officials with Loquendo said that this partnership signals the launch of a system, which is unique in the world – and able to process both speech and media content automatically and objectively, extracting keywords and identifying pieces of music, thanks to the integration of Loquendo Automatic Speech Recognition with Knowmark’s proprietary acoustic fingerprint technology.

Company officials also said that Loquendo ASR, integrated into Knowmark’s BAS platform, offers next generation multilingual speech recognition. It is speaker independent and reliably recognizes large scale vocabulary continuous speech, even in the presence of background noise.

Loquendo ASR uses various acoustic models specialized for the target application fields, and provide tools for the collection and analysis of field data. Other key features include ‘word spotting’, used within the Knowmark solution, for identifying specific speech content.

"Thanks to the integration of Loquendo ASR, we were able to further automate our platform, thus enabling us to identify all one-off marketing events, such as announcements and promotions,” said Dario Amata, founder and CEO at Knowmark.
