Arrowsight's Remote Video Auditing and Reporting Wins Patent

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

Arrowsight, a Web-based application services provider, has announced its second patent for the company portfolio. The remote video auditing system and reporting method from the company has been bestowed with this honor, which also makes Arrowsight a major supplier of third-party remote video auditing technology and services for corporate compliance, employee safety and performance management.

U.S. Patent's Summary of the Invention section has described the Arrowsight solution as a software-based method and system that allows generation, execution, modification of audits and guard tours, and creation of audit and guard tour reports and provides access to the images to develop and support the conclusions contained in the reports.

Arrowsight explained that the Remote Video Auditing (RVA) requires the client to install video cameras, motion sensors, digital video recorders (DVRs) and other technologies to allow Arrowsight to help monitor clients’ operations remotely. The installation is supported by ADT. The video installation then records staff activity in the client organization and this is reviewed from a remote site by Arrowsight professionals in forms of random video samples. Afterwards, it checked whether or not the staffs met the goals and adhered to the protocols established by the client.

As Arrowsight's reviewers score, their assessments combine with those of other reviewers in the Arrowsight database and produce a representative measure of performance. That info is also sent to the client’s management section, who will also be having full access to the video Arrowsight reviewers assess and can use it to identify particular coaching or training needs as necessary, and to recognize strong performance.

Officials with Arrowsight exclaimed that the services surrounding this patent are critical to helping clients improve safety, security and performance 24 hours a day, every day. Using the company’s tools, businesses can identify workers and processes that are on track as well as those that are not – in real time – and execute where oversight and training will have the greatest impact.

Based in Mount Kisco, N.Y., with network operation centers in Huntsville, Alabama and India, Arrowsight asserted that it helps businesses follow protocols and meet productivity targets.
