Fonality Showcases HUD 2010.2 Application at ITEXPO

Fonality, a provider of cloud-based business phone solutions, will unveil the latest version of its platform, HUD 2010.2, at ITEXPO this week at the Los Angeles Convention Center. A platinum sponsor of ITEXPO (News - Alert), Fonality will demonstrate the cloud software application at booth No. 301.

The software update includes a new version of HUD, the Unified Communications application that connects the phone and desktop and features a single easy-to-use interface that helps to avoid call center and enterprise redundancies.

Version 2010.2 enables HUD to be completely in the cloud, and is packed with powerful features made for web browsers and mobile devices across the board, including the Apple (News - Alert) iPhone and Android-powered phones, and the desktop.

With HUD’s inclusion in the cloud, the platform’s new structure “does the heavy lifting,” according to company officials, as it allows clients to be “lean and efficient.” Professionals will be able to manage calls, as well as the status of colleagues and queues – all directly from their desktop or smartphone device.

Fonality’s (News - Alert) 2010.2 will be available in Q4 2010, for all of its cloud-based product lines, including Fonality Connect. However, version 2010.2 is now available as a beta for those who want to give it a whirl.
