By Stefanie Mosca, TMCnet Web Editor

NACT (News - Alert) Solutions LLC, “NACT” has announced a series of product enhancements and alliances that expand the company’s portfolio, and enhance the value proposition for NACT’s customers.  NACT will showcase these new product enhancements, alongside with one of its latest partners at ITEXPO (News - Alert) this week in Los Angeles.

Last month, NACT announced its VinciSoft Class 4 softswitch, with an array of VoIP and TDM capabilities, such as: call routing services; Session Border Controller “SBC” functionality; trans-coding; billing; reporting; and client management capabilities.  At ITEXPO, NACT is showcasing a number of new Class-5 capabilities that have been added to VinciSoft, such as: point local access; DID numbers; voice mail-to-email functionality; follow me service, and several other features.

As a result, VinciSoft now helps service providers optimize their route plans, service their customers, and achieve their revenue goals to a higher degree.

“We have the largest installed base of any company in the prepaid telecom industry, and we continue to add value, by providing our customers new features that help them make money,” said Arnie Goodstein, President of NACT Solutions.

This new configuration substantially reduces the cost and complexity of the system.  NACT is also introducing new features in the Vinci Prepaid Platform, such as international top up and international prepaid texting, to enable NACT’s carrier customers to offer a “Triple Play (News - Alert) “service.

A new software version, V-3.3.0 is now available, providing customers with new functionality, such as: counted call over-ride features; enhanced memory allocation; simplified licensing; and streamlined support for customers on maintenance agreements.

NACT also recently expanded its product portfolio by partnering with, and becoming the exclusive US and Canadian distributor of VoIPFuture’s (News - Alert) Voice Services Monitoring capabilities.  This week, executives from the Hamburg, Germany-based company will join NACT in its booth at ITEXPO, to show attendees how to best control the voice quality of their VoIP services.

At ITEXPO, NACT is also announcing that its VinciSoft offering has become the official commercial carrier softswitch of the FreeSWITCH project.  Additional details are available in the release entitled: “NACT Announces that VinciSoft is now the OfficialCommercial Carrier Softswitch of the FreeSWITCH Project.”
