Interactive Intelligence Inc's IP communications software compatible with Office Communications Server 2007 R2Feb 04, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) --Interactive Intelligence Inc (Nasdaq: ININ), a provider of unified business communications solutions, stated yesterday (3 February) that it is introducing a version of its IP communications software to support Microsoft's Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2. The new version is designed to help contact centre agents and business users communicate and collaborate more effectively. The Interactive Intelligence all-in-one IP communications software already supports the first release of Office Communications Server 2007. The software platform will now add contact centre agent and business user features such as multi-channel skills-based routing, call and screen recording, an operator console interface, workforce management and cradle-to-grave reporting, Interactive Intelligence said. As a result of the integration users will be able to take advantage of synchronised presence; the ability to exchange instant messages between the two systems through a common enterprise-wide user directory; and simplified administration for user provisioning between both systems.
