Omnia Technologies Selects U4EA Multi-service Business Gateway for Remote Agent Application

U4EA Technologies, a leading provider of integrated access technology for unified communications, today announced that Omnia Technologies, via Interlink Communications Systems, has selected U4EA's Fusion 500 Multi-service Business Gateway for its remote agent call center application. The Fusion 500, in combination with an Open Source IP PBX, enables Omnia to handle the inbound and outbound calls made by remote agents utilizing IP telephony to access remote call center applications. This advanced solution provides seamless VoIP support to businesses with multi-site locations or that have a large ratio of teleworkers.




The Fusion 500 combines the functions of a router, switch, firewall/NAT, IPSec/VPN, IDS, session controller, bandwidth manager, VoIP Gateway, patented QoS (GoSTM) and OA&M into one device for the secure, reliable delivery of unified voice, data and video communications. By packaging multi-vendor, best-of-breed products together, Omnia is able to offer a comprehensive, tested solution for remote call center functions, VoIP connectivity, SIP trunking, disaster recovery and future application support.
