TelcoBridges to Introduce New Communications Platform at ITEXPO East
By Erik Linask, Group Managing Editor
Today’s communications environment is constantly evolving, with new features and applications being developed, all of which need to be combined into complete communications solutions by developers. This includes the basics, like VoIP, conferencing, IVR, messaging, as well as other innovative services, all of which must be effectively connected to any number of access and delivery means to meet the unique needs of individual network operators.
Many developers and systems integrators are already familiar with TelcoBridges Tmedia series of telephony platforms, which are designed with the flexibility to meet the standards of any provider — from simpler deployments with minimal configuration to the most complex, requiring configuring of any number of applications and services being delivered to end users.
“Operators today require high-density solutions to not only support their growth, but also to provide the flexibility needed to deliver services in a quick and dynamic fashion,” said Mark St-Onge, director of sales support for TelcoBridges (News - Alert).
TelcoBridges’ Tmedia TMG 3200 (which recently was named a winner of INTERNET TELEPHONY’s Product of the Year Award) and TMP 6400 platforms let network operators focus on developing their services — and attached revenues — without worrying about scalability. As many as 16 Tmedia TMP 6400s can be combined in a centrally controlled and monitored system, allowing from more than 32,000 channels.
As so many other companies will also do, TelcoBridges will be unveiling its newest addition to the Tmedia line at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO in Miami in two weeks (February 2-4). Though details are currently unavailable, the newest Tmedia model promises to provided the same level of service reliability that have made the 3200 and 6400 popular among some of the largest operators in more than 45 countries, allowing them to effectively manage their communications delivery without fear of downtime.
In addition, TelcoBridges has specifically focused on today’s green initiative with its solutions. The Tmedia products consume nearly two-thirds less power than competitive media gateways, according to the company, without sacrificing its carrier-grade five-9s reliability.
In advance of the unveiling of its newest product, TelcoBridges is sponsoring a Webinar on January 27 at 2:00pm EST. The event, Leveraging the Benefits of High-Density Media Gateways, will focus on the capabilities of carrier-grade media gateways that help lower both CAPEX and OPEX (News - Alert), while enabling the delivery of new revenue-generating services, as well as how to leverage TelcoBridges’ technology to reduce power consumption, resulting in additional cost reductions.
Then, the following week in Miami, be sure to stop by Booth #915 to see first-hand TelcoBridges’ latest Tmedia product, as well as both the 3200 and 6400, and to hear more about the latest revenue-generating services that are currently being deployed with TelcoBridges’ products around the world.
“Anyone interested in evaluating media gateway technology should visit ITEXPO as all of the technology providers are exhibiting, and it provides a one-stop-shop to compare numerous offerings side-by-side,” states Danny P. Blouin, Vice President of Marketing for TelcoBridges.
