Epygi Receives Polycom's VIP Program Certification

Epygi Technologies, manufacturer of IP PBX (News - Alert) and gateway, has announced that it has received Polycom VIP Program Certification to acquire compatibility with Polycom VoIP Phones.

 

Polycom (News - Alert) believes that its VoIP Interoperability Partner (VIP) Program allows manufacturers of SIP-based call control platforms to demonstrate through testing and certification that their premise-based (IP PBX) or hosted (Softswitch) call control solutions are interoperable on a defined feature set with Polycom SoundPoint IP desktop and SoundStation IP conference phones and SIP software. It assures that customers moving from legacy PSTN phone systems to productivity-enhancing VoIP solutions enjoy seamless interoperability and reliable technical support.

Epygi offers a total integrated package of business communication products and services to small to medium businesses. Epygi will be working closely with Polycom's development team over the next few months to further enhance support for the VoIP phones.

 

Epygi’s president Mario Cuello stated that Epygi Technologies is excited about the partnership with Polycom. He said that Epygi is global provider of reliable and feature rich IP PBXs, gateways and conferencing servers and Polycom will be an excellent partner since they are a world leading independent supplier of VoIP endpoints.

 

With this partnership the companies are aiming to achieve full plug-and-play support and further development of Polycom's HD Voice technology.
