Zeacom (News - Alert), a global provider of Unified Communications (UC) solutions for the small-to-medium sized business market, has acquired New Zealand-based Talking Computer’s Mi-Audio and Mi-Eval product lines for an undisclosed amount.
The Mi-Audio module is a cost-effective Windows-based call recording technology for contact centers. Used in conjunction with the Integrated Evaluation, Call Assessment and Coaching module, Mi-Audio and Mi-Eval will provide Zeacom customers with objective evaluation, training and ongoing support.
With an anticipated $1 million increase in revenue for Zeacom over the next 15 months, the addition and integration of these product lines are expected to enhance the functionality of the company’s Zeacom Communication Center (ZCC) 5.1 UC suite to include voice recording and training modules, thereby solidifying its position as the industry leader in customer interaction solutions.
Sourced from one single application, Zeacom Communications Center 5.1 provides Rich Presence, Unified Messaging, Contact Center, Blended Out-dialing, IVR, Operator Console, Mobility, Conferencing, and Microsoft (News - Alert) integration on one server and using a single administration interface. Zeacom Communications Center 5.1 reinforces the company’s position as a leading telephony software provider to small to medium sized organizations seeking to integrate their business communications and processes.
Miles Valentine, CEO, Zeacom while speaking at the company’s recent Zeacommunity user conference in Melbourne, Australia, said, “Adding these products to our ZCC Suite was a logical next step for us in providing the most advanced unified communications solution on the market. We will offer these options to our existing Contact Center customers, and immediately integrate them as appropriate. This acquisition solidifies our already strong functionality in the business-critical Contact Center divisions of Staff Training and Call Recording.”
