Carrier Ethernet Drives Service Provider Edge Router Market, According to Dell'Oro Group

"This was a major milestone that shows how rapidly service providers are taking advantage of the lower costs and higher bandwidth capabilities that these Ethernet-based products bring to their networks," added Umeda.
In a separately published report, Dell'Oro Group tracks the Carrier Ethernet Router and Switch market which exceeded $1.4 billion in the second quarter, almost three times the size of the market just three years ago.
