GSI Labs Suite of EASyApplications Now Supports SIGTRAN

(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
GSI Labs has announced the availability and support of the SIGTRAN
family of protocols for their suite of EASyApplications.

The SIGTRAN protocols are integrated with EASyViewer and the other
EASyApplications for complete decoding and filtering of all messages on
a SIGTRAN based network.

As the telecommunications industry continues the migration from
traditional SS7 and T1 integrated solutions to IP based telephone
interfaces, the SIGTRAN protocols are an important product offering.
More and more of our customers were asking us to support SIGTRAN so we
have met our customer s needs, said John Martin, VP of Technology for
GSI Labs. We are helping to drive this transformation of the industry
by fully decoding, filtering and loading into databases SIGTRAN based
messages for complete understanding and alarming on SIGTRAN centric
networks.

GSI Labs EASyApplications include EASySniffer to capture all relevant
SIGTRAN telephone message traffic crossing the network. These messages
are then processed and sent on to users for further analysis using
EASyViewer. Depending upon the department, these messages can apply to
telecommunications professionals in charge of network engineering, lab
development or customer support.

The comprehensive solutions have been used by some of the leading
wireless carriers in the world and maybe most importantly the
monitoring of more E911 wireless calls than anyone else. So whether the
telecommunications carrier is a G, CDMA, TDMA wireless network, E911
provider, LBS company or division, LEC, CLEC or VOIP service provider
GSI Labs has a SIGTRAN solution for you.
