VoIP Provider Natural Convergence Enhances Hosted Key System Solution
By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Natural Convergence (News - Alert) has launched Dynamic Site Support that enables small businesses to support off-site teleworkers. The company points out that by extending the benefits of silhouette, its hosted key system solution, they continue to expand the solution's attractiveness to small business. This is expected to improve its service-provider customers’ ease and ability to sell hosted VoIP services to this market.
According to Sanjay M. Patel, vice president of Technology, Broadview Networks (News - Alert) companies are increasingly interested in enabling their staff to work off-site with the goal of enhancing productivity, boosting job satisfaction and improving the bottom line. Patel emphasized that they must equip their staff with the same capabilities they would have in the office to successfully do so.
Natural Convergence supplies hosted VoIP software that enables service providers to sell dramatically improved services to the huge, yet untapped, small business market.
Patel also said that Natural Convergence provides them with an important new tool for responding to this trend among their small business customers by introducing support for off-site users on its hosted key system.
Thanks to Natural Convergence's new Dynamic Site Support features off-site users can enjoy broadband Internet access at home, according to the company. Traveling workers from hotels or public "hot spots," can make and receive calls as if at their office desks. It is simple to setup the solution by following silhouette's unique "zero-touch deployment" capabilities.
Natural Convergence says its Dynamic Site Support capabilities were designed to allow service providers to address the varying national regulatory requirements for emergency call routing (e.g., 911 in the United States and Canada, 999 in the United Kingdom), while meeting the needs of off-site users.
David Cork (News - Alert), chief executive officer of Natural Convergence, believes that the rollout of Dynamic Site Support is a major step in Natural Convergence's mobility strategy.
“It's another example of our determination to continually add the features that our service provider customers need to better serve the traditionally neglected small business market,” said Cork in a statement.
