By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor
PRIMUS Telecommunications Group is opening two new regional sales offices to meet growing demand for its customized enterprise voice-over-IP services in the rapidly growing U.S. market.
The company is extending its presence in the Northeastern hub of Boston, and McLean, Virginia, by hiring more field sales and telesales staff by year end to deliver hosted and trunked VoIP services to small and medium-sized businesses in major markets. PRIMUS points out that the newly expanded sales force can leverage existing investments the company has made in branch locations and community presence throughout the U.S. This includes the company's Tampa, Florida telesales and services hub where PRIMUS representatives delivers to small and medium-sized (SME) businesses.
“More and more business customers are using PRIMUS enterprise voice-over-IP services globally. It's affordable, scalable, and delivers the reliability and flexibility that businesses of all sizes need to remain competitive across today's ever-changing market landscapes,” said Paul Singh, PRIMUS chief executive officer in a statement to the press.
Singh believes by expanding their field and telesales presence here in the U.S., PRIMUS will be even closer to its customers and positioned to enhance the customized engineered and support services to differentiate them from others in the industry.
PRIMUS further explains that their Premium Enterprise VoIP services have become an important part of a broad portfolio of telecom solutions that include a full complement of voice and connectivity services that can enhance the productivity and the bottom line of any business.
According to Joe DiMaio, vice president of enterprise sales and marketing for PRIMUS, it all begins with their ability to assess the communications needs of their customers and to deliver effectively on their technical, budgetary, and connectivity requirements.
DiMaio said that their expanding sales team will enable PRIMUS to take advantage of personalized service to a new level for new and existing customers who are starting from scratch or want to leverage their platform investments.
PRIMUS Premium Enterprise IP-based solutions are delivered over a Broadsoft platform. This global VoIP network platform is also serving customers of Lingo, the company's residential VoIP service offered throughout the U.S.
