IP Phone Manufacturer snom Unveils New Webinar SeriesBy Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor snom Americas, the North American division of a IP phone developer snom technology AG (News - Alert), has announced it will be hosting a series of webinars, which will help the North American VAR community to explore different possibilities with IP communications.
The webinar will cover topics such as unified communications, VoIP and SIP. Educating participants about the latest developments in enterprise IP communications and the new technologies and products from snom, the first webinar, entitled "snom Under the Hood -- A VAR's Technical Guide to VoIP and snom's Fourth Generation SIP Technology," will be held on June 24.
The webinar will cover the latest developments in enterprise IP communications and tackle the details of the new technologies and products from snom. The webinar is hosted by members of the snom Americas team and it is the first of two such events in June as snom kicks off a new monthly VAR webinar series. The webinar series looks to help value added resellers make the most of the growing opportunities in enterprise VoIP and unified communications, the company has stated in a press release.
The second event in the series will be "VAR Strategic Selling - How to Close Business with snom," which will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at 1 p.m. ET. This sales tutorial will educate listeners about the tools of the trade and best practices for filling the pipeline and increasing revenue through snom's fourth-generation VoIP phones and intelligent IP endpoints.
The company has also announced that some lucky registrants who register for these events may win a free phone from snom or a free Flip video camera.
The initiative includes a micro-website, a newsletter, and social media outlets such as Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter populated by information, special offers, and community interaction aimed specifically at regional VARs and distributors dealing with SIP communications, IP telephony, VoIP, IP-PBXs, and office communications servers.
