Polycom Joins Hands with Major Unified Communications Vendors

Companies that use unified communications very often have to deal with various platforms to make their UC environment work. Polycom is one such company and it has recently deepened its relationships with BroadSoft, IBM, and Siemens Enterprise Communication Group.

 

Polycom's (News - Alert) Open Collaboration Network strategy is now supported through the integration efforts with the above mentioned companies. This helps the company to provide open and interoperable conferencing and collaboration solutions that provide customers with greater flexibility and investment protection. The company can also deliver its productivity-enhancing and cost-saving telepresence, video and voice collaboration products as an integrated part of core UC environments.

 

The partnerships entered into by the company support the Polycom Open Collaboration Network (POCN) strategy and provide our partners an open standards-based approach to solution development and deployment. The customers can now leverage their existing communication environments and protect their long-term investments.
