Fortitech Deploys AltiGen VoIP Solution to Streamline Communications

By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor

AltiGen Communications, a provider of integrated Microsoft-based Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, announced that Fortitech has deployed an AltiGen (News - Alert) software-based VoIP solution to unify communications between their large domestic and global operation centers.

Fortitech, which is dedicated to the development and manufacturing of custom nutrient premixes for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, has helped manufacturers introduce or improve over 30,000 products offering health and wellness benefits to consumers worldwide, company officials said.

Headquartered in Schenectady, NY, Fortitech has a global network of manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Mexico and the United States.

With state-of-the-art facilities throughout the world, Fortitech needed a reliable communications solution that provided uniformity across locations and simple one-point administrative access to the entire system, the company said.

“Because of the large scope of our project, we needed a scalable solution that was software-oriented and could easily be tailored to the demands of our growing company,” said Joseph Vozna, network administrator for Fortitech, in a statement. “We are constantly adding new employees and expanding our locations both here and abroad.”

AltiGen solution enabled the company to achieve a uniform voice presence across all locations presenting customers and partners with a standardized, professional appearance. With this, the employees are presented with the same standard and advanced call and messaging options wherever they are. Fortitech was also able to realize rapid ROI by easily administering the entire system from a single console.

Recently AltiGen Communications announced that China UnionPay, one of Asia's fastest-growing financial institutions, deployed an AltiGen software-based call center and VoIP solution to standardize the customer service across various banks in China.

AltiGen and China UnionPay Data services co-developed an integrated customer service system that has been deployed by numerous banks and credit unions throughout China. It provides customers with both automated voice services and human agent services to achieve the most beneficial and cost effective service for each caller, company officials said.
