ACT Conferencing Expands in Asia Pacific Region

ACT Conferencing, a provider of on-demand audio, web and video conferencing services, is expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region to include the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Plus Two. ACT already has a well established footprint in Asia supporting channel partners operating in ten Southeast Asian countries that make up ASEAN, plus two additional East Asian nations: China and South Korea.

 

The group recently appointed Sunny Au as Asia channel manager. Au joined ACT with ten years of experience in the conferencing industry, including several years as a sales director at Genesys (News - Alert) Conferencing. Prior to that, he served as a sales manager at Premiere Conferencing.

 

“We are in an interesting position,” said Au. “While the global marketplace is experiencing more ebbs than flows, ACT is consistently seeing growth around the globe. This is because at a time when travel budgets are slashed and people are expected to do more with fewer resources, on-demand conferencing solutions are a must-have.”

Earlier this month ACT sponsored the IR Magazine Hong Kong and Taiwan Awards and Au presented the Best Investor Meetings award winner to Delta Electronic.

 

ACT is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, one of the largest American chambers outside the US and the largest international chamber in Hong Kong. ACT participates in the Information Technology & Telecommunication committee which devises initiatives focused on conducting business in China and liaising with Chinese businesses and government organizations.
