RSA Complements its Managed IT Services with Total's IP-Based SolutionsBy Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor RSA Corporation, a Houston-based business technology services and IT staffing firm has partnered with Total Technologies, a next-generation IP solutions provider.
RSA aims to complement its managed IT services with IP-based products and solutions with this partnership. According to George Black, president and CEO of the company, this alliance will enable them to better serve client needs as they can now offer immediate access to IP telephony and security technologies.
“By offering products and solutions related to our scope of services, we are able to more holistically help our clients achieve their business vision,” said Black.
This mutually beneficial partnership will help Total Technologies to extend IT support services to its clients such as remote help desk, on-site checkups, server and network monitoring, server and desktop maintenance, and data backup administration.
Michael Murphy, CEO of Total Technologies, said that RSA provides a managed services application to their customers, and this alliance will allow their customers' network to evolve beyond basic functions of delivering simple connectivity.
Total Technologies can now deliver stable, reliable and intelligent applications, which help companies to more easily meet their business objectives.
According to officials, ShoreTel recognizes Total Technologies for its ability to offer world-class customer satisfaction with knowledge of IP-based technologies. ShoreTel (News - Alert) has also honored Total Technologies with the Circle of Excellence award for revenue, performance and customer satisfaction for three consecutive years - 2006, 2007, 2008.
RSA was in news this September for offering emergency technology support and disaster recovery services to local businesses affected by Hurricane Ike. The company’s specialists were at the spot in time to address a number of technical issues such as server and network interruptions, power outages and co-location issues that restricted businesses from resuming normal operations.
