Amdocs Signs Six-Year Managed Services Contract with MetroPCS

Amdocs (News - Alert) reportedly has signed a six-year agreement for managed services with MetroPCS Communications, Inc., a provider of unlimited, flat-rate, pay in advance wireless communications service.

 

Under the agreement, MetroPCS will license billing, operational support systems and customer care products from Amdocs’ Customer Experience Systems product portfolio.

 

According to the company, the new agreement will support MetroPCS’ wireless plans.

 

The agreement also includes Amdocs’ provision of certain billing and operational support services that allows MetroPCS to migrate from its current billing and operational support system to the CES (News - Alert) 7.5 suite.

Comcast has deployed customer care, billing and OSS solutions based on Amdocs CES 7.5. Comcast also will deploy Amdocs CES - Cramer OSS 7.5 to support its network resource management and network planning processes.
