E2M Expands Services Portfolio with Apliman's IVR System

By Jayashree Adkoli, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Apliman’s (News - Alert) Technologies, a provider of communication technology products and call center systems, has announced that its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system has enriched Entertainment to Mobile International’s (E2M’s) portfolio of services.

Apliman's IVR system is based on company’s ApliBridge platform and allows callers to dial (or be dialed from) a fully automated system and utilizes voice prompts, in conjunction with a phone pad, in order to interact with a wide host of provided information, says the company.

Apliman's ApliBridge platform bridges data between World Wide Web applications and technologies such as voice, SMS, email, Web, and more. The platform, which facilitates with 3rd party integration and GUI development tools, can create enhanced multi-modal solutions that enable mobile operators, service providers and enterprises to expand their portfolio of services with fewer expenses.

Apliman's technology offers full control to the user and allows them to write 'C' code and design IVR applications using the Apli-phone (telephone line simulator) on any computer and then move it to the IVR system.

Apliman's IVR system provides round-the-clock information to its customers using Text-To-Speech software. It extracts variable information from a database, or from the Web, and then converts it to audible speech. Callers can receive available text that is present in an organization’s database in the form of a speech by responding to the prompts, which is generated by the IVR system.

Telecom operators and enterprises, especially in call centers, can benefit from this service making the user more productive and letting the phone system provide the caller with the information needed so agents can handle other requests.

Apliman's IVR system’s Text to Speech software enriches the product portfolio of VAS (value added services) providers by advancing practical applications such as providing callers with account information, news flashes, weather updates, traffic reports, sports scores, dedications and many more, says company.

Apliman's IVR system integrates runtime modules, statistics utilities, alarm monitor, debugging tools and network control elements and enables rapid creation of applications with more functionality and detailed call control as well as reads text data from email, SMS, or any other gateway and database to awaiting subscribers.

Carla Mezher, marketing coordinator at E2M, said, "At E2M we refer to Apliman Technologies as a partner and not a Vender, this is due to the excellent relationship between both parties that has grown over the years to create a partnership. The all astonishing ApliBridge platform, support, and continuous follow up have differentiated Apliman from other Venders and made them a partner that E2M can count on. Finally we do trust that it is an all time win-win situation dealing with Apliman."
