Gartner (News - Alert), Inc. has positioned AT&T in the Leaders Quadrant of its 2008 “Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing.”

Launched in 2007, AT&T (News - Alert) Connect has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in Gartner’s annual review of Web conferencing and collaboration services for enterprise businesses. AT&T Connect boasts integrated telephony, the ability to scale for large events, advantages in serving remote and mobile users and flexible licensing. Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing,” by David Mario Smith and Jeffrey Mann, July 2008, indicated that enterprises should develop their strategy for Web conferencing as a component of their overall collaboration strategy from an infrastructure perspective to maximize integration possibilities with other platforms.

Frank Zvi, vice president, AT&T Unified Communications (News - Alert) expressed his company’s delight to receive this evaluation, which they believe is recognition as a leader in network-based collaboration.
