Appia Communications Named One of America's Fastest-Growing Companies

Appia Communications, a provider of managed IT and telecommunications services, has been named to Inc.'s list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies for the second consecutive year.

 

The Michigan-based company, specializes in services to small and midsize companies and organizations, received the recognition after seeing revenues nearly tripled since last year. Appia earned a ranking of 2,248 overall and 71 in the Telecommunications Top 100.



The company is one of only 62 companies on the Inc. 5000 not based in a metropolitan area. Appia’s customers range in size from 10 to 60,000 employees and from one to over 200 locations. They represent all the major verticals, including construction, education, engineering, entertainment, government, health care, legal and manufacturing

 

"For more than 27 years, the Inc. 5000 has served as a benchmark for the most innovative, dynamic and successful companies in the nation," said John Koten, CEO and editor in chief of Inc., in a letter to Appia President Victor von Schlegell. "As (a two-time) honoree, Appia Communications is now a member of the most influential business club in America."
 
The list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007.
