VoX Offers Wholesale VoIP Services to Broadband Subsidiaries of CSPBy Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributing Editor VoX Communications (News - Alert) has announced it signed agreements to provide wholesale VoIP digital phone services to the operating companies of Charles Street Partners. The companies will market under the Clearband brand name in targeted markets throughout the U.S.
Charles Street Partners (CSP (News - Alert)) is a wireless broadband Internet and voice provider in North America that claims its bringing “true” broadband and competitive voice, and delivering HD television over satellite through DirectTV.
Tom Della Rocco, senior vice president of Networks at Charles Street Partners, said that his company tested and compared VoX’s VoIP services against the competition and concluded that VOX is the “best wholesale VoIP provider” in the industry in terms of voice quality, provisioning and overall value.
Initially, VoX’s VoIP services will be deployed by CSP’s operating companies covering portions of Arizona, Maryland and Florida. After the completion, using the latest WiMAX (News - Alert) and wireless technologies, CSP’s broadband network is expected to offer data and voice capabilities to geographic areas covering over one half million homes and businesses.
“We have secured or are in the process of closing over $34 million in financing to help fund our effort to provide broadband and voice services to underserved rural markets in the United States,” said Rocco.
Charles Street Partners is an “excellent testimonial” of how company’s superior VoIP services are able to cover the largest markets in the United States as well as the underserved, rural areas, said Mark Richards, president and CIO at VoX Communications.
He also said, “Our unique VoIP technology, coupled with high-profile service providers like CSP, enables us to strengthen our presence in the larger metropolitan markets, while simultaneously enabling us to gain first-mover advantage in some of the most underserved, rural markets in the country.”
A wholly owned subsidiary of Pervasip Corp., VoX Communications offers digital voice services for the residential and small business markets. The company offers a private label digital voice program sold to cable operators, carriers, CLECs, ISPs and resellers.
