GoIP and Visisys to Launch "Simone"
By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributing Editor
GoIP Global has reached a strategic partnership with Visisys, the developer of Viso Vue, which enables “Simone,” an animated, interactive character with facial recognition to come to life on a video screen and interact with its viewer.
Viso Vue uses stored customer or individual profiles to offer “Simone” real-time information on individuals interacting with “Simone.”
Visisys is one of the technology leaders in integrating and implementation of intelligent video security and its technology allows people, events, or financial facts to automatically trigger surveillance alarms, notifying required personnel to generate security responses without the need for visual human monitoring.
Visisys uses biometric, computer synchronization and machine vision techniques, such as face capture and recognition, license plate recognition and point-of-sale device coordination, to achieve its intelligent video security.
GoIP is working with Visisys in developing opportunities for “Simone,” such as Virtual Concierge, Virtual Receptionist, Virtual Security Guard, and other possible extensions to include security systems for government, such as automated border crossings and e-banking for financial institutions.
Ike Sutton, CEO of GoIP, commented, “Simone will enable companies to launch Personalized Virtual Services based on profiles activated by Facial Recognition Software. It is a powerful tool for Media, Security and Service industries.”
