Intellisoft Picks Vocalocity for Hosted VoIP PBX Service
By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Intellisoft ( News - Alert), a growing provider of business and accounting software solutions, has chosen Vocalocity to address its voice communication requirements.
Employees from some of Intellisoft's departments are now working from home and the company’s software programmers are located in offices around the world. What was needed, therefore, was a feature-rich and cost-effective phone system that was as easy to set up and administer as other business applications such as e-mail.
Vocalocity’s ( News - Alert) self-configuring VoIP phones and online setup enabled Intellisoft’s new phone system to be up and running in minutes. Intellisoft also used Vocalocity solution to unite dispersed offices and employees under a single communication system. This provided a professional image and made it easier for customers to reach their desired parties.
Douglas Ibarra, CEO at Intellisoft said that Vocalocity furnished the company with the most up-to-date technology and most comprehensive services on the market. He added that, being a huge improvement over traditional phone systems, Vocalocity’s service rivals some of the most expensive solutions available to even the largest companies.
“We continue to take pride in the ability to offer micro enterprises an affordable option that is easy to set up and provides the flexibility for adjusting settings as needed,” said Phil Hill ( News - Alert), president, Vocalocity in a statement.
Hill said that companies that previously considered it impossible to accommodate employees who telecommute or are based in remote locations have turned to Vocalocity for a voice communication solution that saves money without sacrificing quality or desired features.
Ibarra explained that their employees who work at home are happier, and they are saving money compared to the cost of using a traditional phone system. Additionally, they no longer have to worry about managing or housing cumbersome telecom equipment.
“A hosted solution VoIP clearly helps us operate more efficiently,” he concluded.
Vocalocity is a provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communication services to micro enterprises -- companies with fewer than 20 employees.
