VoX Adds 7 Point as Its Newest VoIP Master Agent

By Johanne Torres, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Wholesale VoIP service retailer VoX Communications has inked a new Master Agent agreement with 7 Point, which will now allow its dealers to offer VoX services to their business and residential customers nationwide.

With more than 80 dealers nationwide, 7 Point provides businesses with telecom hardware, interconnect services and wireless voice and data systems. 7 Point is also a National Master Dealer for Sprint (News - Alert)/Nextel Wireless Services.

“Our goal is to empower dealers with a full range of communication solutions that exceed their customers’ quality and cost expectations,” said 7 Point’s president DeWayne Monday in a statement. “We turned to VoX to quickly respond to growing demand for digital broadband phone services. With dealers around the country, it was important to find a solution that offered quick provisioning, straightforward installation and clear, dependable voice services. VoX met all of our criteria and then some.”

Today’s news comes on the heels of VoX’s announcement about inking a wholesale agreement with regional cable operator, Allegiance Communications. Allegiance will resell VoX services under a private label agreement, to offer broadband phone service to its customers living in smaller cities and towns access.

Allegiance owns and operates broadband cable systems in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri.
