IBM describes its MSEMSP as a client relations management software system for the use of medium and small businesses.
“We plan on incorporating our VoIP system into the IBM MSEMSP,” said China VoIP & Digital Telecom's president and CEO Li Kunwu in a statement. “We will then offer business customers an integrated service package with multiple applications. IBM MSEMSP clients will have an opportunity to take advantage of the convenience and cost effectiveness of our VoIP system.”
Jinan will begin distributing IBM's MSEMSP in the Shandong Province. The company's service area is currently comprised of 19 cities with Shandong Province as its primary base of operations. Jinan reportedly has plans to expand its service area throughout China in the near future.
Today's news comes on the heels of Jinan's announcement just last Friday about it acquiring Hangzhou Zhongfang, a VoIP service provider based in the Zhejiang Province. The move is said to expand the company's reach into China's southern provinces.
Zhongfang produces and distributes VoIP hardware, and also provides VoIP phone services in Zhejiang Province, primarily to telephone cafes in four cities in Zhejiang Province.
