Mobiboo, the British Internet and WiFi

phone company, today made an entry into the US market and started with a highly competitive offer: For those who use its Dashboard soft phone communications center for PCs and laptops, it has offered calls across US, Canada, Puerto Rico and major cities in Mexico for just $29.95 per year.
This pricing from Mobiboo is called “all you can eat” and applies to both home and business users. The home plan is called “Home Buffet.” Mobiboo claims it offers calls of exceptional quality.
Using a Mobiboo dashboard provides the users with many advantages. Apart from its powerful instant messaging services, Mobiboo customers can call all fixed and mobile phones in USA, (excluding Alaska), Puerto Rica, Mexico (Mexico City and Guadalajara), Canada, plus US toll free numbers. That’s not all. Customers of Mobiboo have the facility to call all other Mobiboo subscribers across the world for free. If your friends and relatives residing in other countries have not subscribed to Mobiboo dashboard services, you can still call them at Mobiboo’s normal rates.
The “Business Buffet” at Mobiboo offers almost the same features and costs $79.95 per year. Customers can also go for $10 or $20 of call credit on Pay and Talk Plan. Here, they get to talk to their friends or customers across different cities in US for as little as 4 cents per minute to land and cellular phones.
For incoming calls, customers get their own Mobiboo phones and there are no charges for incoming calls on Mobiboo phones. Currently customers can choose a number from Atlanta, Denver, New York, San Diego and Seattle - but the company intends to make the service available in other cities soon.
Gordon J. Elkins, vice president of sales for Mobiboo, U.S., said in a published report that Americans are recognizing the massive cost-savings of using internet telephony. He also opined that Mobiboo’s launch in the USA provides a real alternative to other fixed, cellular and internet phone services.
Mobiboo entered the Great Britain market just over 12 months ago and the customer response has encouraged the company to a great extent. Today, the company claims that it has customers in most countries of the world. According to Mobiboo officials, they plan their developments based on user feedbacks. Since more users wanted an option to call people in US and they wanted attractive packages to call across USA, Canada, Puerto Rico and to parts of Mexico, Mobiboo is ready to give them what they are looking for.
Mobiboo is testing waters in the intensely competed US market. Major players like Skype (

services to customers and have been successful at what they are doing. Mobiboo claims to have adopted the best features of other VoIP service providers, combining them with the benefits of traditional mobile phone services. It also offers same call charges wherever you are in the world.
It will be an interesting battle between Mobiboo and other established VoIP players in the US to lure the customers to their services.
