Zeacom ContactCenter 4.0 Now Avaya Compliant
By Stefania Viscusi, TMCnet Assistant Editor
Call Center Software provider Zeacom, announced today the compatibility of their ContactCenter 4.0 offering with Avaya's telephony solution, Avaya ( News - Alert) IP Office 3.1.
The new compatibility provides further efficiency and an improvement in customer contact for small-and-medium sized businesses while helping them to also realize the benefits of interoperability.
Avaya certified the Zeacom software as compliant after being tested by their Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J.
ZeacomContact Center, an earlier release of which was also Avaya-compliant, provides businesses with a solution for enhancing customer service. With the new compliance, a company like Dental Assisting National Board (DNAB) was able to migrate its Avaya Merlin MAGIX platform (via Avaya BusinessPartner Liberty Communications) to the new IP Office and include its Zeacom ContactCenter solution.
"The combination of Zeacom ContactCenter and IP Office allows small-and medium-sized businesses to stay at the forefront of communications technology and to realize the benefits of open, standards-based platforms," commented Miles Valentine, Zeacom CEO in a statement to the press.
According to a recent news release, "Zeacom is a longstanding member of the Avaya Developer Connection Program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in the network."
With this compatibility, "they are able to use Intelligent Communications to connect employees and customers to information from wherever they are, or whatever device they have available—getting more out of their multivendor network and delivering new value to their bottom line" commented Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya.
