Lead Management Software Making the Carrier Grade in Do-Not-Call Compliance Game

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

Multinational telemarketing solutions provider Call Compliance (News - Alert) Inc. has added a big fish to its growing roster of carriers with the announcement today that AT&T is now selling its TeleBlock service for maintaining “Do-Not-Call” (DNC) compliance.

The Texas-based AT&T now joins Verizon Business (News - Alert), Qwest and Paetec as carriers using TeleBlock.

Dean Garfinkel, co-founder and chairman of Call Compliance, said the service will provide AT&T (News - Alert) the ability to offer customers an unsurpassed level of DNC reliability.

“Obviously, since AT&T is the most recognizable name in global telecommunications business having them choose to add TeleBlock to their cadre of outbound business voice services is a milestone for our company,” said Garfinkel.

And while the number of carriers using Teleblock is on the rise, it isn’t necessary to go through one of them for the Call Compliance service.

VanillaSoft, a lead management software provider, supports Teleblock from inside their own software.

As TMCnet recently reported, in addition to the lead management features, VanillaSoft’s software is compliant with all federal, state and calling regulations make it a challenge to effectively manage calling campaigns.

VanillaSoft, is already providing its customers with the technology to comply with the new Canadian “Do-Not-Call” law and has in place the same system for the United States version.

The company partnered with Call Compliance to deliver Teleblock’s DNC scrubbing service on-demand. Each call, prior to being routed to an agent is checked against federal and state DNC lists. If the name appears on the list, the call will be blocked from the agents ensuring that you remain in compliance.

Now entering its second decade of operation, Garfinkel believes TeleBlock’s success is due to the fact it’s the only real-time DNC solution. “Unlike scrubbing and other approaches to DNC compliance, being a real-time network carrier service allows TeleBlock to provide a far superior 100 percent level of service,” he said.

The New York-based company was established in 1999 and has performed helped users make more than six billion calls without a single error, and no one has ever paid so much as one cent in DNC fines, according to Garfinkel. "I know AT&T's telemarketing customers are going to love those numbers," said Garfinkel.
