iConnect And Event 1 Partner to Provide Low-Cost Business Solutions for Home Builders

RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- iConnect and Event 1 Software, Inc. have partnered to provide home builders with an integrated data management system that will collaborate with the industry's most popular financial reporting software.

The partnership will allow users to pull existing information from Sage Timberline Office, use it with Builder's CoPilot and vice versa. Builder's CoPilot is an enterprise-wide customer relationship management (CRM) software program developed by iConnect and Comstock Homes, a residential home builder that serves Washington, Atlanta and Raleigh, N.C.


Builder's CoPilot and Event 1 Software have created a co-marketing relationship where each company retains its identity but also promotes the other in order to benefit customers.

"This partnership will provide home builders with a low-cost and integrated software solution that will allow them to streamline their business process," said Amitesh Sinha, president and chief information officer of iConnect. Builder's CoPilot is CRM software for home builders that integrates information about sales, scheduling, service and warranty, accounting, and other key components of the construction process into one database. The program was created by Sinha and Comstock Homes President Greg Benson to manage issues builders face on a daily basis.

Event 1 Software's Office Connector product leverages Event 1 Software's core competency: Excel integration. Office Connector is designed to exchange information and create reports from data contained in Sage Timberline Office - a cost accounting system that is widely used in the home building industry.

Event 1 Software designed an Excel-based Office Connector template specifically for Builder's CoPilot, which allows Builder's CoPilot customers to take advantage of Sage Timberline Office.
