Cincinnati Bell Extends Relationship with Convergys

Cincinnati Bell (News - Alert) has announced it renewed its contract with Convergys to run through 2013 and which extends more than 10 years of relationship shared between the companies.

 
Brian Ross, chief operating officer of Cincinnati Bell said that their company is pleased to extend its long-standing relationship with Convergys (News - Alert), and expects that by utilizing Convergys’ suite of processing solutions and services, they will continue to advance customer relationships while achieving important cost reductions in their business.
 
Under the agreement, Convergys will continue providing processing services including provisioning, activation, usage management, and billing for the wide range of services and bundled offerings Cincinnati Bell makes available to its wireline and wireless customers. As part of the contract Convergys will also provide wireline and wireless application development and maintenance services.
 
Jim Boyce, president of Convergys North America said that for more than 10 years, Convergys has been performing strategic activities that have enabled this trend-setting communications company to compete and differentiate itself more effectively, achieve cost synergies, expand its footprint, and improve productivity.
 
Boyce said that they will continue to support Cincinnati Bell as it launches new and exciting offerings to its subscribers into the future.
 
Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cincinnati Bell provides integrated communications solutions-including local, long distance, data, Internet, and wireless services-that help keep residential and business customers in Greater Cincinnati and Dayton connected with each other and with the world.
 
Convergys Corporation provides solutions that drive more value from the relationships their clients have with their customers and employees. Earlier this month, a Fortune 500 diversified financial services company extended its long-standing contract for Convergys' Customer Management solutions. Under the $26 million, one-year contract extension Convergys will continue to provide live agent customer support as well as back office services to the client.
