CRM Firm Customer Connect Picked for Sunbelt via New Horizons Charlotte

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

CRM consulting firm Customer Connect Associates has been selected by the New Horizons Charlotte computer learning center to deliver technical user training to Sunbelt. Sunbelt uses Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics CRM 3.0 in their day-to-day operations.

New Horizons chose Customer Connect due to the Cornelius, North Carolina-based company's experience with the CRM tool, Customer Connecter officials. Services that Customer Connect will provide include customization and integration of the most advanced areas of the Dynamics CRM application, reporting, and scripting.

Founded in 2000, Customer Connect Associates is a Microsoft Certified partner and a member of the 2007 Program Advisory Committee for the National Center For Database Marketing Conference.

This spring Customer Connect Associates, long affiliated with Microsoft, became a Microsoft Certified Partner for Customer Relationship Management.

"We're proud to have reached this important landmark," said Customer Connect President Geoff Ables at the time. "Our goal is to reach the level of Microsoft Gold Certified within the next twelve months."

Also this spring Customer Connect Associates was retained by ClearWater Marketing to implement Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy and products. The firm was contracted to provide services including CRM technology selection, sales process engineering, and training employees to use the CRM tool.

"We'll be helping ClearWater to define, automate and refine their sales process," explained Ables. "Once that's done, we'll monitor and refine the process as it is implemented."

Founded in 2000, Customer Connect Associates' clients include Travelocity, SAS (News - Alert), LandAmerica, AMF, BB&T, MedImpact, Jacobsen and AAA.

In April Customer Connect hired Michelle Seamster as CRM Consultant, with responsibility for CRM implementation, database development, Web development, and data analysis. Seamster came to Customer Connect from Huber Engineered Woods, where she worked as an application developer and CRM analyst.

With a BBA in Marketing, Michelle worked for Huber, both in North Carolina and in Virginia, from 1996 until this year. Huber is a client of Customer Connect.
