Webmedx Selects UniPress to Centralize IT Support
By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Webmedx, a medical transcription outsourcing company in the United States, has selected UniPress’ FootPrints to centralize IT support for 500 home-based and remote workers.
FootPrints will track and manage all development work, issue tracking, and new enhancements related to the company’s enterprise document technology – WebmedxEnterprise.
Since Webmedx solution center is split between offices in Pittsburgh and Spokane, a Web-based system like FootPrints that can be accessed via a Web browser enables the company to distribute workflow evenly to all agents.
“We really like that FootPrints can support multiple projects across different departments, and that the product can be customized to fit our needs,” said George Liptak, Vice President of Technology and Development at Webmedx in a press release.
“Simply put, FootPrints enables us to track and manage all issues that we put into the system quickly and efficiently,” noted Liptak.
Following the implementation of FootPrints, Webmedx has reportedly been able to process thousands of more tickets per month, and close tickets at a faster rate.
