Apple scraps plan to open customer-call center in India

(Wall Street US Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)Apple Computer Inc has abandoned plans to set up a customer-service center in India. The electronics and computer manufacturer said it will open centers in other undisclosed countries instead following a review of its plans.
